Our Story

Slippyleashes was created in 2015 as a family service project. From our garage we were able to use rope and metal connectors to create the very first Slippyleash.

As of now, we have donated over 13,000 free leashes to police and sheriff departments, animal advocates, and compassionate people.

The leashes are then put in these people's vehicles and used when a lost dog or other animal needs to be helped or rescued. You would be surprised at how many lost animals do not have collars...which is why the Slippyleash does the job!

The leashes are 100% free to first responders and are made of mostly recycled materials.

Thank you for all of the support and we look forward to reaching our goal of donating 20,000 leashes!

How We Do It

We have put together an all-star team with product development, quality testing, manufacturing into a not-so-secret garage facility at our home.

It all began with a great idea to get people to help stray animals.

Leash Factory

From our home we design, measure, cut, and assemble our leashes. Quality testing is also done to make sure that the Slippyleash is good to go!

Leash Donation Drop-Off

We've given away over 13,000 free leashes to police and sheriff departments, animal advocates, and compassionate people. These leashes are then placed in their vehicles and used when a lost dog or other animal needs to be helped or rescued. Many lost dogs and animals do not have collars when they are found... which is why the Slippyleash does the job!​
